The first time I arrived in the US, one of the most stupid things happened. I was in Los Angeles Airport trying to find my way for my flight going to Florida. Due to nervous, excitement and other mixed feelings I did not read most of the time.
I was chasing every sliding door that would opened. Only I could not make it when I'm like 3 meters away. I have no clue at all what is going on. For five times I tried to get out, looking for button to push on that automatic door,I wondered around. Finally there was a woman headed toward the door, I run like there is no tomorrow. I don't care if she thought I'm chasing her. When I'm like 5 inches away from here the door opened and I got out with her.
30 minutes before the plane going to Orlando FL leaves, I made it! I couldn't sleep while on the plane thinking what is the mystery of that door? When I arrived at Orlando, FL I met a fellow filipino and I'm innocently telling him that exits at LA airport seemed don't want to let me out. Then I saw the same door at LA airport. I was no longer afraid because I knew I'm with my 'kababayan' :-) Being so relaxed and before reaching the door it said right in the middle of the door "automatic sliding door". I smiled secretly and told myself 'another spears of my existence, lettin fear and excitement ruled out my senses. :-)
